This huge complex has been the launching point for the Apollo and Satumrockets, plus todays sspace shuttles. At the huge Vehicle Assembly Building, the 363-foot-tall (109 m) Saturn rockets that boosted the Apollo spacecraft into orbit-and KENNEDY eventually to the moon- - were SPACE CENTER assembled.
